Animal Testing

There is no beauty in animal testing for cosmetics!

Do you know that in North America, thousends and thousends of animals are cruelly abused for testing cosmetics? These are absolutely horrible tests ( I will spare you the details but you will find information on the internet, just look for bunnies and animal testing) and no animal should suffer through or die because of them.

In Europe, the European Union has finally banned cosmetics tested on animals! Why can that not happen in North America?

What can an animal lover in Newfoundland do to fight againgst animal testing for cosmetics?

Buy products that are not tested on animals!

Read the label. Look for statements like “Not tested on animals” or “No animal testing” or something similar. Often it shows a drawing of a bunny because in tests, cosmetics were poured on their eyes because they cannot close their eyes. Can you imagine how painful that is?

Here are some examples for products with no animal testing:

– Shampoo “Down Under Natural`s”

– Conditioner “Kiss My Face” miss “treated”

– Tooth paste “Tom`s of Maine”

There are tons of cosmetics out there that are not tested on animals. You just have to look for them. If you find such a product, let me know. I will put it on our list.
