Michele has so many pets that she could not fill in the standard “Six Golden Questions” for all of them. She decided to give a short description of her three dogs and one cat. Here we go:

“We have 4 wonderful furry friends, their names are Spye, she is 11, our oldest doggie. She is a spayed female. We got Spye at the SPCA in Corner Brook. She is named Spye because the kids had just seen the Spye, the kids movie.

Spye is loyal and wonderful. She loves walks and she loves to sleep on her bed very close to me. She is not as limber as she used to be but she is still active and happy. In her youth she loved to ski long distances with us.

Swix is our next furry baby, he is a neutered 2nd generation Cock-a-poo, he is nearly 4 years old. Swix is actually owned by our oldest daughter Katie who is away studying and could not take him due to time restrictions. She has left him home with his brothers and sisters so that he would not be lonely while she is at school. He visits her every chance he gets, he is going to see her on March 10th, he will be a very happy boy. Swix’ name is speed in Norwegian ( I think), he gets his name due to Katie being an avid cross country skiier and the fact that he is very strong and fast when he runs. He loves to play ball and his favorite treat of all time is banana. He is an absolute delight!!

Nate is our beautiful black and white shih tzu, he is nearly 2 years old and an absolute bundle of energy. He is neutered. He is owned by our youngest daughter Sarah. He loves squeeker balls and spends most of his time with one nestled between his teeth. He loves to play and run with his siblings. He is lively and so much fun to have around. He is a very gentle dog with the most wonderful personality.

Jasz is our rescue cat! He is approximately 9 years old. He was abandoned by his owner and we brought him home temporarily until his owner could be found, but instead he adopted us. At first we believed Jasz was female, but a visit to the vet for spaying revealed that HE would require neutering instead:). While Jasz is technically a “family” pet he can be found more times than not snuggled next to Andrew. Jasz is a very dominant cat but loves his canine family.

Our animals are all wonderful and bring us great joy. No home is complete without a furry friend.”
